Charter Construction served as the structural concrete contractor, delivering a full-scope package that includes foundations, rock anchors, slabs, vertical elements, and post-tension systems. Early unforeseen subsurface conditions created schedule pressure, but Charter’s VDC/BIM team supported progress with detailed coordination models and worked closely with Layton Construction to resequence work and recover time. Despite challenges with rock anchor installation and groundwater infiltration, the field team stayed adaptable and maintained productivity, positioning the project for continued success heading into vertical construction. The team ultimately topped out four weeks ahead of schedule with zero safety incidents.
