Dependable
at the Core

Progressive With Every Pour

Every concrete project is different, and that’s what drives us. At Charter, we view each job and its unique challenges as an opportunity—pushing us to evolve, find creative solutions, and deliver on projects that demand fresh ideas and a relentless focus on getting it right. Whether it’s structural concrete, restoration and repair, or formwork, you’ll find the same dependable and progressive approach behind it all.

Pre-Construction and Planning

Laying the Groundwork for Success

For us, pre-construction is about being in the trenches with our clients, solving problems early, and building trust that carries into every phase that follows.

Budgeting at Every Phase

Provide multiple estimates to track costs as designs progress, from conceptual narrative to CDs.

Project Planning

Develop schedules and logistics early so our commitments aren’t guesses—they’re promises we can keep.

Design Collaboration

Collaborate closely with design teams to refine systems before drawings are complete.

Value Engineering

Share design ideas that save money and allow for faster schedules.

Constructability Reviews

Identify potential issues early and propose modifications, allowing for a smoother construction process.

Repair Analysis

Conduct in-depth structural assessments and deliver comprehensive reports to guide long-term maintenance and repair decisions.

Virtual Design & Construction (VDC)

How We Integrate VDC and BIM to Add Real Value

Every concrete structure we build starts with a virtual model. Through VDC and Building Information Modeling (BIM), we bridge the gap between incomplete designs and the information our team needs to build with precision. This process allows us to anticipate challenges and bring greater accuracy and coordination to the field.

Our process includes:

  • 3D modeling of the entire concrete structure
  • Laser scanning to coordinate with existing conditions
  • Incorporating other trade models (steel, precast, glazing, MEPFP) into our model and layout drawings
  • Using the model for comparing as-built measurements for quality control

Because we bring these models into the field, they’re not just digital visuals— they’re practical tools that improve the construction process from initial planning to project completion.

Safety

A Commitment Woven Into
Every Phase of Every Project

People are our motivation, so safety is part of our culture. From bilingual training to mobile audits and innovative equipment, we’re always raising the standard to keep everyone safe. That commitment protects our crews, our partners, clients, and the communities where we build.
