Aertson Midtown

In the heart of Midtown located at 21st and Broadway, this upscale apartment building boast 350 apartments, 35,000 square feet of retail space, 180-room boutique hotel, 6,500 square feet of meetings space, 9 elevators and 630 parking spaces.

Aertson’s highly complicated structural concrete component included 36 sloping columns, multiple transfer beams and a concrete framed trellis at the top of the building. This requires approximately 30,000 cubic yards of concrete. We completed 93 nighttime elevated slab concrete pours, each averaging 30 truckloads of concrete for each pour. These late night into early morning hours concrete pours required unique noise-reduction techniques to lessen the disturbance for neighbors.
